Re: KFC

After so many years I finally accumulated enough stupidity in my head to order KFC’s grilled chicken. Big mistake!! If I was blind, no ways would I know I was eating chicken. My strong advice to all of you is to stick with the original recipe.

I’m telling you guys, after I wasted my hard earned money on that grilled garbage! I went back the next day and ordered original recipe. Just the right amount of grease, flavorful and I chased that chicken down with an honest to goodness dose of pepsi. I was in heaven again. From the pits of hell just the day before. God is good mwandi

Well no, the unknown author of A Ghetto Poem is talented. Unless cutting and pasting counts as talent these days…

Speaking of Ghetto.... here's a love poem, straight out of the Hood

Gul I loveded you,
Straight up fo'sho.
Or I wouldna told dem ova girls
not to call me no mo.

I knowed it was true,
the first day I seed you.
Why you thank I do,
the thangs I do?

Remember how I use ta wine and dine you,
Schlits Malt Liquor and Bar-Ba-Que.
I gave you a bubble baze and fed you grapes.
Dey was on sale that week a dolla ninety-eight.

Romanic evenins after dark,
Skreet light walks around the block.
Like the very first time,
you came ova to my crib.
And you got all scared,
cause that roach was on yo Tims.
I was right dare,
with a can of spray.
To be yo Super Negro,
and save the day.

I ain't even pay my light bill,
so I can take you to da club.....
Don't knock ova dem candles
and burn up my rug!

I woke up early and made you breakfast in bed.
Sep fo I ain't have no juice, no grits, and no eggs.
Didn't have no cereals and was fresh outta milk,
so we had some toast and some potada chips.

I use to rub lotion on yo feets,
and massage yo back.
I found you some glue,
when you lost one of your tracks.

Now what man you knowed,
ever loveded you like dis.
Gul please just take my name
off dat child support list.

Imbwa,
you are right! This SocialAnhtropologist does not know what he/she is talking about. People love KfC in america from all walks of life wether poor or not. The only difference is the rich try to control what they eat therefore do not eat KFC on a regular basis. When you go to KFC on sundays you see white/black people buying buckets of chicken and I am not talking about poor people. These are people with good jobs and they live in the suburbs which we call low density areas in zambia.

You can have KFC once in a while but if you want to eat that chicken all the time, you are going to be fat!

Social, osanama boza iwe.

In the US, obesity is a huge problem and it goes across lines of social economic status. In the Southern US especially, people of all colors and all economic situations tend to be oblivious to health issues. They scoff down fried foods and other junk like there's no tomorrow. KFC boasts more than half a billion dollars in revenue annually. That's not from sales to poor white trash and ghetto Blacks alone.

And if you think I'm telling a lie, go to any small town in the US where there are no trailer white trash nor ghetto Blacks and you will still find a KFC or two. Greasy chicken and all.

And you know why officially, the company decided to go with the name KFC vs Kentucky fried chicken? It's not because of the "Kentucky". It's because of the "fried". They want people to forget they are eating a heart attack.

Fascinating study in cultural translation; in the US only poor white people living in trailer parks and inner-city blacks eat at KFC. Here, it is rich people’s food!

I have travelled the world and have found that in Africa it tastes different.

Maybe someone stole one of the secret ingredients....lol

To me it tastes like those boneless breast pieces coating and not the deep fried crispy coating it normally has on it everywhere else.

Sir Simunyola,

I don't think I like this Noone fellow. Why is he forcing people to go to KFC? Is he also a PF party cadre? This country is going to the dogs, I'm afraid. Now people are being force fed KFC. It's an outrage.

-Noone forces u to go to KFC, obviously, so 'u are taking urself for a ride'. U have 2 options before u: 1. prepare ur own food at home which is much healthier and cheaper. 2. If u cant cook, go for other FAST FOODS outlets. as simple as that!
