Guys,
I just went to an all you can eat buffet. Now you are pulling me through hell and all that heat and these deadly sins.
How about the seven virtues? Chastity, Temperance, Charity, Diligence, Patience, Kindness, Humility.
Anyway, Reason, thanks. Now I will think twice before another buffet.
My own research of the english word 'gluttony' says it's a derived from Latin and the literal latin meaning is to "gulp down or swallow". But like many word meanings, we don't always take the literal meaning. Words usually mean the context in which they have come to be used.
And again from my own research, the word gluttony does not exclusively refer to food, but can also means the excessive consumption of other items to the point of waste. Yes Reason, I know what you are going to say. Just like the Zambian pigs the politicians. I agree,
