POOR STATE OF THE NDOLA HIGHWAY IN KAPIRI MPOSHI

Postby Martin Mooka » 9th July 2010, 20:46

Dear Zambia,
I would like to express my displeasure at the fast deteriorating road at the two 'fly Over' bridges over the rail line as you are leaving Kapiri town heading towards Ndola. The portion in question is so bad that motor vehicles swerve and there is a risk of a container falling over a small vehicle. What makes the situation more dangerous is the fact that there is a steep slope on both sides of the road. Please we need help. A looming accident is avoidable.

Nothing good can come out of PF rule and Zambian infrastructure will continue to go down the toilet. What a shame that Zambia crosses the half century mark at such a low and depressing note.

Sable transport has some of the worst civil engineers in the hisory of civil engineering. The fukcers do roads that are 0.5 inches thick.

Shoulders - non existent
Drainage - done by dyslexics
Road signage - laughably late
Road markings - running joke and amazing if they exist

Contracts - they have the easter province
Kick backs - its rumoured that their Lusaka has more grz officials and representatives collecting kick backs than a village dog has fleas.

Who is hell "green lit" the pine view road. A blind corner by a school with no humps and on a slope. If kids don't die there soon I'll be shocked.

The road at Ndanji Guest house turn in. T - juctions that have no clearance for turning motor vehicles. Turning cars go half way into the lane of on coming traffic.

The fiascos that they call the kapata roads.

Whoever is their civil engineer needs to be sturck from the roll of EIZ.

The GRZ engineers that certify jobs done to standard should be jailed for aiding and abetting fraud.
