ZANIS AND PRESIDENTIAL TRIPS

Postby lusaka » 13th December 2011, 19:43

Dear Zambia,

I WRITE TO EXPRESS MY DISGUST IN THE MANNER THAT THE ZAMBIA NEWS AND INFORMATION SERVICE HAS HIJACKED FOREIGN TRIPS TO PROVIDE MEDIA COVERAGE FOR PRESIDENT MICHAEL SATA AND HIS VICE PRESIDENT GUY SCOT... TODAY WE HEAR THE PRESIDENT IS LEAVING FOR UGANDA TOMORROW, ZANIS HAS TAKEN UP THE TRIP TO PROVIDE MEDIA COVERAGE FOR THE TWO LEADERS. SHAME ON ZANIS WHO SEEMED TO HAVE BEEN SYMPATHISERS OF THE MMD, A SIUATION WERE THEY DENTED ZNBC ANOTHER MEDIA AS BEING PF IN THEIR GREEDY QUEST TO TRAVEL ON FOREIGN TRIPS TO AMAS KA ALLOWANCE WHICH THEY HAVE NO SHAME OF ESPECIALLY THAT SOME OF THEM ZANIS STAFF WERE MORE MMD CADRES, WERE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO WERE SEEING WHAT ZANIS HAD DISPLAYED INORDER TO CAMPAIGN FOR RB... NOW ITS SEEMS THE DUST HAS SETTLED AND I BET OUR FRIENDS FROM PF HAVE FORGOTEN THAT IT IS THE SAME ZANIS , MMD RIGHT HAND THAT COULD HAVE SEEN THEIR DOWN FALL. SHAME ON THEM, ZNBC WILL ONLY BE AN ESCORT OF THE VEEP AND PRESIDENT SATA UP TO THE AIRPORTS.... WHEN THEIR MANDATE IS TO BE ON THE GROUND TO REPORT ON WHATEVER UNDERTAKING THAT THE VEEP AND PRESIDENT DOES LOCALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY.... WERE ARE THE PRESS AID TO SEE TO IT THAT ZANIS DOES NOT HAVE AN UPPER HAND ALL THE TIME, I GUESS MR CHELLAH AND MR CHANDA HAS WORKED WITH THE MEDIA BEFORE AND SHOULD KNOW HOW ZANIS OPERATED.. LETS NOT BURY WHAT HAS BEEN VISIBLE TO SEE, WE ARE IN A CIVILISED SOCIETY.... ITS EQUAL WORK EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL...

LUSAKA

from the sound of it, you're not too enthusiastic with the way zanis has treated you of late. is my assumption about right?

Mister Simunyola Sir,

I remember you very well from our days in school. The day they taught us sarcasm, you were suspiciously absent from class. Were you chasing lizards that day, sir?

Mister Simunyola sir,

I have noticed that you are sarcasm-deaf. So After reading my previous post, please chill out. Don't go beat up your children at home, on account of my smart-ass response to your noticeably unhip and rigidly conventional remarks. Ok sir?

Producer,

Whatever! But atleast you agree with me that u didnt communicate anything by [...you're not too enthusiastic with..]. I dont expect u to write the perfect language (and no one does, and its not necessary), but I expect u, atleast, to be able to be able to communicate your thoughts.

Producer,

Its was jst an observation, not a big issue, and no offense was intended. Dont wory about this other people's (native, natural) language, U also have your native language to cherish!. You could only be ashamed if u didnt know how to write/speak your native language coz that would put u in an awkward situation where u cant perfectly write ur language nor english (the one u claim to know). If we had one language in Zed, it wud hav been pointless to use other people's language on a forum like this one, but Its so unfortunate that we're using this language which was imposed on us by our colonial mstrs (and which we cant even speak/write perfectly).

PS: your native language is the ONLY language that speaks to your heart, its simply the BEST!!!

@lusaka.
ZANIS is a govt department and they have covered KK, FTJ, LPM, RB and now MCS. Other media houses especially private who want to cover the president's foreign trips are very free but its at their cost.
SO Bo Luaska what is really your issue with ZANIS?

@ Sir Simunyola. Your comment on Lusaka's thread?
