hehehehe

When factually cornered all you ever see on here is ngwaa ngwaaaa. The problem is not that I know it all its that you know nothing at all. Instead of reading books or expanding your mind you probably prefer to chase ma hule, sleeping around, be on facebook and gossip, this is why zambia doesn't develop no reading culture. Being a pwele is cool for some reason and when someone is not a pwele ati he knows it all, i don't know it all but I know more than you obviously. Its not my fault Yaba! your parents should have instilled discipline and reading virtues from childhood in you

Slumdog you google trool. Learn to read OK. ZAF's Mig-21's were upgraded in Israel. OK. The old Russian electronics taken out. You know the valves and 1960s junk and replaced with Modern IAI Avionics. IAI upgrade puts an Elbit Radar and a Helmet mount sight on the Mig-21. It wires it to fire NATO missiles as well as Warsaw PAct missles. It upgrades the data bus to NATO stan MIL-1553 data bus OK. The cockpit is fitted with same avionics that are in an Israeli F-16.

Look numbskull, electronic components have been getting smaller and smaller and processor more powerful. Therefore you can pack more and better electronic gear in a 1960s airframe with 2000s gear. OK. So get an education numbskull instead of spewing your ignorant ggogled junk. Mr Know it all actually knows nothing.

OK. We worked on Israeli F-16 when training in Israel while training. The stuff was exactly the same. The Mig-21 2000 upgrade was done on the ZAF Migs. Some of jets are still in Israel because oour silly politicians forgot to pay !! Russia even sent a stiff diplomatic protest to Zambia when a Mig-21 2000 in Zmabian colours was used in an IAI display at an airshow and subsequently used as a demonstrator.

Roumania opted for the same upgrade to its Mig-21s when it joined NATO. OK. Slumdog "Know Nothing Idiot".

We are tired of your posturing and noise makeing on every topic on Dear Zambia. Stop talking through your arse about stuff you know nothing about. OK.

http://www.airforce-technology.com/projects/mig21/ Slumdog. This link is just for you please read it. OK. This is the upgrade we got on our Migs. I am sorry you are illiterate and can't read. As for watching discovery channel piffle, well it does not match actually having sat in the cockpit and flown the sucker. Just stick to whatever it is Slumdogs do and leave the people who really know to talk. We Cipuba !!!

Slumdog, Retard is right. The Mig-21 2000 jets are flying and have been seen at Lusaka international Airport. I saw some of them on the runway one morning coming from Livingstone parked at the ZAF side on the dispersal apron. Serial number AF612 and AF602 were being serviced and being readied for flight. After landing I waited adn saw them take off in fast take off run side by side.

Yes these jets are flying. Sorry bwana Slumdog Shalapungu, this is a case where you are just arguing about something you do not know much about. My warning to Retard though, ZAF frowns on officers past and present talking about the service online.

The planes you saw were more likely AF924 a Mig-21UM training version two seater and AF930 Mig-21MF both upgraded to Mig-21 2000. They regularly make training flights between Lusaka nad Mumbwa. AF6xx serials were used by transport aircraft. The serials you are remembering are for the two YAK-40 jets that are regularly found at the dispersal area near the runway at Lusaka. The two YAKs fly but are time expired on engines. I have also seen them on the ground at Ndola on several occasions.

Check you notes. You will find that the Migs were AF924 and AF930. AF6024 is a YAK and while AF612 is an unsued serial number. The MA-60s are AF607 and AF608. The Migs use the AF9xx series.

Retard can you please if possible clear this up for us.

Your name fits you well , showing me links where nothing mentioned about Zambia is silly at best. You should know my MO i like proof and telling me someone told you its a mig 21 2000 and showing me links is laughable. Talking about Nato missiles and warsaw pact you must have read some propaganda pamphlet.Zambia does not have nato missiles or warsaw pact missles just stop, !!!! secondly ZAF itself lists them as MiG-21MF. I have seen these migs as well probably closer up that any of you and there was no holographic hud or even anything close to an f-16. The updgrade that you mention was probably just screws from israel because the zambian Migs are in far worse shape than even the old migs they show at airshows. Fact remains you are the one googling and bringing me links and the other fact is zambian planes are old and decrepit.

ati nato missiles hehehe those planes are firing incendiary ammunition thats not even made anymore

Slumdog idiot,

Just stop talking about things you do not know about. Pilots and technicians went for trainingi n Israel. The Migs had their old electronics pulled out and modern ones put in. As for NATO and Warsaw Pact armaments. Listen idiot, NATO forces have standards for wiring munitions to allow equipment and weapons built in NATO countries and allies like Israel, Sweden etc to wok without modifications. The same is true for Warsaw Pact weapons. So you could get a jet like the Czech Delfin L-29 equipped with Polish bombs and firing Russian missiles or Swedish Gripen Jets being able to Norwegian Penguin anti-ship missiles while carrying French Matra R-530 missiles.

You see when you pour your usual mental diarrhoea across this site you pretend to be knowledgeable but you are an actual ignorant idiot. The Mig 21s bought by Zambia were MIg-21MF and Mig-21U trainers. These have been upgraded by IAI with Mil-1553 data bus, Elbit radars and are now capable of firing NATO weapons. other countries that have made the same upgrades include Cambodia, Uganda, Rumania, Poland and so on.

Slumdog I went to Israel and actually sat in the cockpit of this thing. Unlike you I am not a dreamer and know nothing know it all. I also studied at the Greek Defence Academy where I got my degree in Electronics and Avionics. We worked on F-16s, Mirage-2000s and A-7 aircraft. So I know what i am talking about.

To help educate the ignorant Slumdog The Mig-21 2000 upgade includes:-

- Modular Multi-Role Computer
- Display And Sight Helmet - DASH
- Head Up Display - Elop 921
- Multi-Function Display 5x5 in.
- Multifunction Color Display 5x5 in.
- Hybrid Navigation System - LISA-4000 EB
- ILS/VOR/DME
- Air data computer - Marconi ADC
- Hopping frequency VHF/ UHF radio - ACR 435
- VHF/ UHF radio - ACR 430
- Radar Warning Receiver - Elisra SPS-20
- Chaff and flare dispensers - TAAS/IMI
- Range radar Elta EL/M 2001 B (Lancer A/B)
- Multi Mode Radar - Elta EL/M 2032, with look-down / shoot-down capability (Lancer C)
- Data Transfer System - DTS
- Flight data recorder - SAIMS
- IFF transponder - Plessey (NATO Mk.-10 IFF compatible)
- Stores Management System
- HOTAS
- Hardpoints for Eastern and Western weapons
- Electronic Countermeasure Pod - Elta EL/L-8222R
- Laser Designation Pod - Rafael Litening LDP
- Photo Reconnaissance Pod - Elbit/Aerostar Airborne Reconnaissance Pod - ARP
- Smart weapons - Rafael Griffin laser guided bomb (LGB), Lizard LGB and OPHER - IR guided bomb
- Dumb bombs and cluster bombs - Mk-82, Mk-83, FAB-100, FAB-250, FAB-500, BEM-100, CL-250
- Air to Air missiles - R-73, R-60, R-3S, R-13M, Magic II and Python-3
- Unguided rockets - S-5 M/K, carried in UB-16-57 / UB-32-57 rocket launchers and
- Single large caliber rockets S-24.

So Slumdog idiot stop talking through your arse about things you know nothing about. The deal was brokered by Isaac Livni of Amiran. Later on Isaac Livini was to receive help from ZAF in training for his PPL and would on occasion ask a ZAF pilot to accompany him to fly his private plane to South Africa. FTJ messed us up when he defaulted on soem ofthe payments on the jets and Israel kept some. So Slumdog idiot ZAF does not list the MIg anywhere it is observers who do as ZAF is not manadated to release ANY data about its operations and if you did your research you would find that the jets were upgraded to Mig-21 2000 standard. Teh opurchase of the K-8 tainer was because it was designed and fitted with Western avionics and is a lead in to fighters using similar gear. The K-8 avionics fit used in Zambia is the same as the Pakistani Airforces who incidenatally fly F-16s.

Stupid dog just shut up.

by the way Slumdog poseur and liar how did you get access to ZAF Mig's cockpit ? Anyone can tell you that no civilian, I repeat no civilian without clearnace from ZAF and MOD can come within touching distance of the Migs. The MiGs are based in Mumbwa so tell meSulmdog when were you given the access to the hangars at Mumbwa and looked down into the cockpit of a Mig-21 ?

LIAR LIAR LIAR LIAR LIAR

Slumdog maybe stick to the subjects where you boast of your mythical and probably fictional sexual prowess. That is more your speed. Stop parading your non-existent knowledge dredged from poorly researched Discovery programs and poorly executed Google searches.

Mamamamama, slum doggy has been thoroughly bitch slapped here. You see slum, you need to mature up and grow a real pair. There are hundreds of people who access this site. You don't know anything about them as much they know nothing of you. Every once in a while, you will come across a topic that someone here will be a scientist on. It's better you bullshit about what you are an expert on, not every bloody topic...

Back to the Kaunda days, yes, Kaunda is back and so are his philosophies. Look at today's headlines, look at the nationalisation, look at the how the country is moving backwards...

So slumdog expert can you please provide us with a detailed explanation for all the knobs and switches in the two cockpits. You claim you know everything about everything and are brainier than everyone else. We are very sure you will enlighten us (wrongly as always) after a hasty poorly done Google search. I think stick to barking and leave the talk about security and warplanes to the people who know what they are talking about.

Your stories (probably fictional) about your sexual prowess and your advice (mostly wrong)on love etc are frankly more to your intellectual capacity. As for now and for a change SHUT THE F--K UP. OK.

When do you even work or are you another blood sucking parasite i.e. Civil Servant feeding from the public trough like hungry mongrel tossed a bone ? We are tired of your antics and want to hear from more knowledgeable and frankly more relevant people. Please crawl back under the rock you came from. It is not our fault you were dropped on your head in the delivery room and hence your mental impairment and lack of social skills,

Like many of you guys, I think Shalapungu is one big headed loud mouth who likes to argue for the sake of arguing.

Having said that, why do you think it is beyond the realm of possibility that Shalapungu can obtain photos of Zambian MiGs? Maybe he has an uncle in ZAF or a grandfather. Maybe he's a pimp who provides the ZAF boys with hookers. How do you know?

Every time I read about the MiGs, it reminds me of the six days war when Israeli french made Mirage fighters destroyed almost the entire Egyptian fleet of MiGs on the ground. The few MiGs that managed to make it into the air were summarily shot down by the much better trained Israeli pilots. All the Arab braggadocio that had built up before was humbled in six days. Same time it took God to create the earth. If you believe that hocus pocus.
