Dear Zambia,

The myth is that Moslem women are forbidden to shake hands with men who are not related to them.

That myth was thrown out the window yesterday. A Moslem woman, headscarf and all, shook my hand and gave me a big hug. All I did was give up my seat on the bus for her.

So you see? The myth is just that. A myth.
