Is Ecumenism thriving or dying?

Postby Contemporary » 24th March 2019, 11:19

Dear Zambia,

Ecumenism is the effort by global religious groups (mostly Christian), to find common ground and perhaps eventually become one.

There are two recent events that lead me to believe that Ecumenism is dying.

1. The Catholic-Protestant violence in 20th century Ireland.

2. The divide between the pro-gay Christians and the anti-gay Christians.
