It is extremely loud. I personally have given up trying to watch a movie as it gives me a splitting headache a vibrations in my heart (arythmia). I would love to watch a movie in a theatre, but have failed at stekineko. I thought there was something wrong with me.

pheew am relieved to hear am not alone !Now can management tell whoever is in charge of playing the movies to bring down the volume to "reasonable" levels?
SterKinekor behaves like the way barmen play music in shanty compounds....extremely loud with a big speaker deliberately mounted outside !

My exact sentiments shi chomba. Being in a place were the volume is so loud is like being in a bar with loud music. It takes away the beauty of the music/Movie.

When Shi Chomba's is complaining about the loud volume in Ster Kinekor you are busy asking about the nice comedy and if it is still showing. Yes you will watch it but no you won't enjoy it because the volume is too loud! One thing that amazes me is the level of insesitivity of businesses to their customers I mean reducing volume is not rocket science. A no brainer chore like that needs not become 'akatamfya beni'..... Ster Kinekor Shame on you. Shi Chomba no mu biye bakami tula ama ear drums lwenu...

I don't blame the management because they are probably deaf from you know where!

Just keep on blasting that noise in your ears. By the time you are 35 you will have lost half your hearing. And like most half deaf people you will start shouting when you talk. People be like, yo dude why you keep shouting? you be like, who? me?

This is maybe the second of third time I have heard mention of this thing ati death at a funeral. Is it another Nollywood movie from Nigeria? How come I haven't seen it? could my new assignment as a civics teacher here in the backwoods of the North Western province have something to do with it?

its been long since I saw a movie @ arcades.and I would love to go there but before that : has the volume issue been addressed by management?
To you good people who have been there recently,is the volume still abnormally high?

Guest (even though we know who you really are :).

We are not that bad. We are very nice people Mr. Mafuta.

That said:
Death at a funeral 2010 is an 'african american' redo of the original british funeral satire. So don't get confused! If you into Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Regina Hall (and more) combo this is the film for you.

It's funny, but thinking about what has become the highest scoring topic on DZ (go figure), that midget Peter Dinklage comes back in the 2010 movie to reprise his role as daddy's out-of-the-closet skeleton. I will spare you the details so you can go shell out your own ngwees and enjoy the movie.

its all part of the cinema experience - dark room, no subtitles & loud volume.. deal with it..
