Hi guys I have an idea. Lets all the regulars who come here register ourselves with ourselves and give ourselves areas like manda hill and arcades 2 guys and cross roads 1 doll then cairo road one guy or doll etc and when there is a complaint =genuine then we must all meet on this thread which the admin will make sticky so its always on top and then we can discuss who must phone the owner or manager of the place and tell them : " ZAMBIAN PIPO ARE DISCUSSING BADLY ABOUT YOUR COMPANY ON THE INTERNET AND IF YOU WANT TO IMPROVE GO HERE.......".then we give them a link to the thread.... this way we hope to get the attention and response from the place we are complaining rather than just complaining ... ???Dear Zambia,

My first complaint is about the dictatorial leaders of CMMD. What makes you think anybody wants you and MM for 'prom' king and queen? You made some sense actually before the self appointments.

I also think the idea is good but I am not happy with the self appointed leaders. I think I deserve to be the leader of this new movement. I am a democrat and have a good cv of leadership.

Yes, any practical ideas to effect real change are very welcome. We can try this idea, especially if there are enough volunteers to make the phone calls.

Perhaps we could also all report what they say when we call them. Alternatively, we could ask them to respond here or something.

Ok responding here is better than we up the ratings of our site here.
Right the first volounteer is me and some minorities like Asian and Lebanese businesses I will ask them to respond here. I already did for creamland and they have responded very nicely and apologised to the customers.
Other Categories:

Govt. (Very challenging)
Zambian Businesses
Whites
Coloureds
etc.

This way all pipo who complain must be able to target the volunteer and keep reminding him about the response.
Now the admin needs to do a good job and make this thread a sticky. Meaning that this thread should always be up there somewhere and volunteers must be able to post links here OR
We could have a list of businesses / bodies which have responded and still pending.
Please admin. workout the best plan.
After a year we vote for the king and queen.... and I shall win my prize.... and you all know what that is...

I think we can all volunteer to make these phone calls from anywhere to anywhere. We don't need an organization for that -- we just need an organized process.

I suggest that when we call, we should read out what the complainant has said so that they can immediately get a sense of what bad publicity they are getting for their service. We can then give them web address to make a public response, like other good managers have done.

You can start right now. Pick any serious complaint on the site. Explain to them what we're doing, and so on. If they don't respond after a single caller, we can go to plan B: multiple calls.

Dear Admin sir,

Maybe I am the one who is misunderstanding Revolution's concern. But I think this Revolution dude is referring to incidents like the one which is happening at the Classifieds right now. Some 3-legged monkey calling himself "Beef burger recipe" or beef burger something-something, is flooding that forum with mind numbing idiocy. So all the legitimate posts are being pushed to the background or into oblivion, as the Revolution dude pointed out.

Now ba Admin, I know you do a very good job in deleting this kind of spam, but sometimes it stays a while. anyway...
