I've used Mazhandu bus from Ndola since February this year after moving to Lusaka to take up a new job. Since I left my spouse in Ndola, I travel on this carrier every second weekend, and I'm very satisfied with the service; clean time-bus, friendly crew, visual entertainment and drink. Well, there is always a bad apple amid us ah? Yesterday's 13:30 bus driver to Lusaka had attitude, he was resting on my seat and I boarded 10 minutes before take- off time, when I claimed my seat he refused to move and pointed me to another seat, I put my foot down and he moved leaving his water bottle on my seat; handed it to him, he just sneared at me and didn't take it. He also refused to open the front door for passengers seated in the front of the bus, we all used one centre door which is convenient for pax in the aft of the bus. The Ndola crew asked him to start the bus 3 minutes before scheduled departure time because all passengers were on board, he refused! Then we got to 10 miles and the bus stopped for two people to disembark; one was a patient so they were slow. This driver started the bus without checking to see if the two had gotten off the bus, until someone called. I was disappointed. His name is Michael and usually operates the Livingstone route. Maz., kindly teach Michael customer care. Otherwise thumbs up to you!
