Mazhandu rude drivers

Postby Concerned » 7th February 2012, 12:06

Dear Zambia,

I am quite surprised reading all the positive feedback for Mazhandu Bus Service. I had two trips this weekend and both were highlighted by the rude and arrogant drivers. On the first trip the driver was driving like a madman. He would accelerate fast, brake fast and overtook on white lines on bends where he could see nothing ahead of him. The final straw was when he overtook right in front of a huge oncoming truck. I got up to complain to him and told him to drive properly, there are people on this bus with their lives in his hands. I was told in no uncertain terms to shut up, sit down and who did I think I was, a driver? Funny he should have asked that since I have a Class C lisence. It also doesnt take a driver to know NOT TO OVERTAKE IN PATH OF ONCOMING TRAFFIC.

On the second trip the driver drove ok, but upon arriving at my destination both the conducter and the driver took off quickly and I looked around the bus for someone to help me get my luggage. I couldnt see them so I tried to open the hatch, but failed and a passer by went to call the driver. He gave me a dirty look and spoke to me like a five year old. I told him I couldnt see them I really just want my suitcase I am late getting to my office and a meeting. He said they were there all along, that I should wait for them, since they were busy with new passenger tickets. I told him that makes no sense why not just first assist customers getting off with their luggage. He proceeded to scoff at me rudely and I told him their customer service is awful that even another driver was just as rude as him previously. The other driver must have said something to this driver and I was laughed at and asked if I thought I was RATSA. I understand that they need to safegaurd luggage, but I dont know a lot of well dressed ladies who travel long distances simply to nick other peoples dirty laundry. They should have assisted me, as surely they are supposed to know that a passenger was getting off there. I have to wonder if they would have behaved this way towards a man or if I can add chauvinism to the list.

I think all the praise have gone to their heads and if they dont stop treating customers in such a way, they will soon lose their credibility.

At "concerned" that's was Zambian savage mentality at its best! Zambian public transport drivers and their bus conductors have always been very rude and aggressive to passengers.. I've never seen such primitive savage behavior in other countries other than this one.
People need to learn how to treat each other with respect. It almost seems to me as though our public transport drivers, bus conductors and their call boys are just different gangs out there to hassle and insult the public. Someone ought to show them how they can treat other people with respect.

Dear Concerned

Listen my friend, don't pay attention to Meme. He likes to talk shit when he is drunk or horny.

I will tell you a trick I like to use. Whenever I encounter such horrible customer, I remind myself than I’m not in the UK or in Australia or in New Zealand or in Sweden or in Germany. Notice I did not include France in that list of dreamy exotic lands. The French are as bad as Zambians in this regard. I remind myself that I’m in Zambia. And all of a sudden everything makes sense. Where I get into confusion and frustration is when I forget that I’m in Zambia. That’s when I expect to get normal customer service.

No my friend, it is not reasonable to expect normal customer service here in Zambia. You better start getting used to the idea that shit is the norm in Zambian customer service. Seriously.

To who is he going to pay attention if he doesn't get it from Meme the great. Meme the great calls a spade a spade not other ways. illicity teacher. The idiot so called concerned is not happy with Mazhandu rude drivers, lots of people on this site said they tried Mazhandu and they are happy.

Who the hell is he alone to be not happy. With all wrong wrong things he did to Mazhandu rude drivers which are:
1. Out of more 40 passengers he was the only one who saw the Mazhandu rude driver was over speed (Mistake no. 1)
2. Inspite of over speeding he reached his destination without harm and on time. He started to hurrying Mazhandu rude drivers for his bag where he packed his rags while the othe 40 passengers never complained.(mistake no. 2)

Never use Mazhandu again you idiot, use the bus for kaponyas.

Sometimes the majority may mean all the fools are on the same side....

And since Concerned has a Class C license, perhaps he knew better than everyone else...!!

Concered, you should have reported the matter to the Owner of Mazhandu buses (I'm told he is a ''reasonable man" and he listens to his clients) and RTSA

We actually reported a POST Bus driver to then Postmaster General Mr. Paul Simfukwe (If i rememeber his name well, as someone had his number on the bus).... A number of us on the bus expressed concern over the driving and called him. He spoke to the driver who had parked by the side and from the look of the drivers reaction, he wasn't happy!

The funny thing was after that, the driver started moving at 40Km/hr,... LOL!!!!

The thing i have noticed about Buses and Passengers is that you have different kinds of people...

- The ones who love ma speed and don't mind dangerous overtaking and the like
- The ones who prefer conservative driving....
- The neutrals,... They feel they have no control of the situation and anything goes for them, so they just ride with it.....!

It's not easy reconciling these three.....!

Lets not wait for accidents to happen, then we all rush online to show what we know what we are talking about! lets do something out there!!

Meme my friend,
Which one are you now? Horny or drunk? Anyway, I have no idea what an illicity teacher does exactly. What I know however, is that you and Shalapungu were farted from the same hole. You both like to pat yourselves on the back and brag about total bullshit.

You bitch, you sound so soft I think my dick can fit you nicely. I didn't say people must not speak up. I was trying to teach a lesson to the creator of this thread a lesson and you jump in with you stupid advice. The so called concerned you can clearly see that he went on board with an aim of seeing mistaks not enjoying a ride. Inspite of, possibly all the good he saw and heard on DZ, he wanted to come up with something bad to put on DZ.

Whats good is good people said so on one of the threads here on DZ i.e. Mazhandu. This idiot here he is trying to bring something bad because maybe he is an employee or owner of one of Mazhandu' competitor.

The great Meme teaching somebody here. Say yes bafikala!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
