CRB

Postby Concerned Zambian » 25th February 2011, 14:47

Dear Zambia,

I live in a rural area of Zambia. Can someone please tell me where CRB is situated in Lusaka. They NEVER answer their phones or respond to emails. Does it mean that every person who needs to be attended to should travel to Lusaka? In this time of technology, I thought emails would be easier for some of us who stay in rural areas. Please help.

I totally agree with you. The CRB telephone either rings without being answered or it is constantly busy.

Are you trying to give Kaloba? You can forward your complaint to Bank of Zambia, they must be regulated by BOZ.

Imwe this CRB is a scandal. And needs to be investigated. It should be owned by BOZ employees. Why was no tender advertised?what criteria was used to select the people who run crb? BOZ can you explain? Why are they not able to handle customer queries on time? Can more people be involved? I also want to run my own rating bureau?what is required?

i conquer with you guys. the performance of this crb is below par. i have a strong feeling that some Boz guys are involved with most of these mushrooming micr financial institutions which BOZ is not regulating effectively. thay are reaping of our poor zambians with exorbitant interest rates. Can some one from BOZ please answer Y.

Banker boi,
If you say in writing, you conquer with someone, you might start a war because they will misunderstand you. The word is 'concur'.

I’m just telling ya.

Now let me confess my own ignorance. What in heaven's name, is this CRB? And why is someone in the Zambian rural area so desperate to get in touch with this apparently dysfunctional institution?

Since they can't pick up the phones, maybe they may find find just a little time to respond to some of the burning questions which people raise.

We would like to know what does it take to have one's name removed from you system other than quiet hoping that we shall figure it out all by ourselves. Its not fair. Can some one do something about this

Mrs Hamweete

Did you really get a master's in nursing as those initials suggest? I envy you madam? You must be making a bundle of cash. You ladies with master's degrees in nursing are practically doctors ka.

When u are on CRB as delinquency your details will be there for 7 years, that what ACT 387 of law of Zambia states. Once put on CRB and you clear the lending institution today, you will be out of CRB after 7 years

Now does that mean that you will not borrow for a period of 7 years? if so, its not fair especially that you will have cleared your debt already
