Dear Zambia, Zambian banks are very rigid and not realistic about the demands they make. A friend wanted to open an account recently, and he was told to produce a Zesco bill. For goodness sake, Zesco has installed pre-paid meters in some homes, and where do they expect this man to get a printed bill from when they can't accept a printed receipt? Can BOZ look into this matter of unrealistic demands and personal details that banks ask for. The demand for unneccessary details is sickening.
