INTERMARKET BANK. GONE TO THE DOG'S?!

Postby chipo » 6th October 2010, 12:48

Dear Zambia,

I WOULD LIKE TO FIRST COMMEND THE BANK FOR EXTENDING ITS BUSINESS BANKING HOURS, GREAT STRATEGY. HOWEVER, THIS GENIUS IS BEING DILUTED BY THE DEPLORABLE STATE OF AFFAIRS VISE VISE THEIR CUSTOMER CARE.
MY FELLOW ZAMBIANS, TAX PAYING CITIZENS AND MORE SO ACCOUNT HOLDING FELLOWS, DONT YOU FIND IT MOST IRRITATING WHEN YOU ARE BEING DELT WITH AT THE COUNTER AND A STAFF MEMBER WALKS RIGHT UP ON YOUR SIDE OF THE COUNTER AND BEGINS TO DO THEIR PERSONAL BANKING TOTALLY DISREGARDING YOUR PRESENCE? I KNOW I DO. I PRAY YOU NEVER GET TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCE WITH A CERTAIN THOMPSON OF CAIRO ROAD BRANCH. HE SEEMS TO FORGET THAT ITS BECAUSE OF MY KWACHA'S BEING IN THE BANK THAT HE HAS A JOB. BUT THIS IS THE LEAST OF MY WORRIES (THOUGH THAT COLOGNE TOMMY BOY IS QUITE WORRYING!), THE MIS REPRESENTATION OF THEIR PRODUCTS IS. I OPENED UNIT TRUSTS ACCOUNT AND WAS CONVINIENTLY NOT TOLD THAT MY GIVING THEM MY MONEY WOULD COST ME 2% OF THE TOTAL VALUE AND THE SAME APPLIED SHOULD I WISH TO CASH IN THE UNITS. IT HAPPENED I WAS CASHING MY UNITS AND THESE TERMS WERE APPLIED EVEN THOUGH I DID NOT AGREE TO THEM BY WORD OR BY SIGNATURE. WHAT WOULD YOU CALL THAT?.....

Chipo,

I am on your side. And that is why I thought if you are going to beat these guys, it will help if your brush up on your english language.

First off, writing in all Caps is a no-no. It makes you look retarded.

Secondly, you don't want to say "the deplorable state of affairs vise vise their customer care. 'vise vise' is a nonsensical terminology. Try vis-à-vis instead.

Vis-à-vis is a term used in the english language today and was borrowed from the french language about the year 1755.

The literal meaning is 'face-to-face'. In english it is used in mainly two ways.

1. in reference to a person or thing having the same function or characteristics as another. This is the context in which you should have used it.

2. It can be used in the literal form, meaning face to face.
e.g. "I found myself vis-à-vis a wild, angry lion and that's when I had a sudden bout of diarrhea"

Well Chipo, chew on that for now. The rest of the english language you will finesse as you go along.

Chipo

are you not the same person who worked at Intermarket up to 2009 and have now moved onto one of these new banks messing up again? I am quite sure there is an IT person at a new bank called Chipo who worked for Intermarket. So now the new bank will also suffer because of your incompetence which you have moved onto an new bank!

So dogs have moved onto new banks messing up again!

Bongo Pepe my friend, I admire your intelligence; when you do breathe your last, (I know I'll still be standing) tell God (hoping heaven will be your destination) that Cindy could use your brains (but filtered for I am female and wont be needing the part where your brain is always thinking about S?X even when you're sleeping) JOKE! I hope that when you finally come back home, you will find time to also lecture at one of our universities here. I'm not refering to this posting alone but all the other topics where I've read your postings and interacted with you! History? Ecxellent! English? Brilliant! Maybe you really are at Havard.
As Binman would say...Hasta Vista La and your sleep enjoy...

sorry to disapoint you PG, never worked for intermarket, dont think they would pay me well, and no im not in the banking sector nor am i in IT. though i must say ive banked with intermarket for a while now, even though my loyalty is taken for granted. I sense fear, you work for intermarket? worried for your income should the bank close? im sure you can find a job any where you very competent person. i dont see a valued person like you sticking with a soon to collapse institution because they cant find a jod any where....
stay blessed, and always remember jobs are not hard to find. if you are good, you are good :-)

Cindy,

I know your intention was to make me blush :) My brains you can have them. They say an average man only uses about 6% of his brain power. Just from that 6% he is able to scrape out a decent existence. Needless to say most of the rest of the 94% he is busy thinking about S?X :) :)

My dear Chipo, I can sense you did not appreciate my humor none too much. sorry, I just enjoy a good laugh every now and then. I wish you all the best with those dogs at the bank.
