My biggest problem with some Lusaka street food vendors

Postby Lusaka street loiterer » 3rd February 2019, 14:06

Dear Zambia,

Those who handle cash and food with their bare hands.

Cash happens to contain more bacteria than the toilet seat of a public toilet.

Think about that.

If you’re gonna handle food with your bare hands, at least employ one of many Lusaka loafers to handle the cash end of the business.

For goodness’ sake!

..or at the very least, use some of them disposable plastic hand gloves in between transactions.

For the sake of decency!

To be perfectly honest, between my daily ganja smoking and my constant pangs of hunger, I cannot afford not eating from the cheap street food vendors here in Lusaka.

I am only asking for this small favour of hygiene, out of desperation.

Please help me enjoy your incredibly delicious food, dear Lusaka street food vendors.
