Is it socially acceptable to add onions to vinkubala?

Dear Zambia,

I have always eaten my vinkubala straight up. Just some cooking oil in a frying pan and a bit of salt.

I am just wondering if I should take a leap of faith and experiment with adding some onions into the mix.

Perhaps some tomatoes too?? God forbid!

It’s just that vinkubala are just so perfect in of themselves. How can a man possibly improve on perfection, huh?
