Shoprite

Postby Malumbo » 9th July 2010, 19:33

Dear Zambia,
i wish to express my displeasure with kitwe shoprite. There are rarely people to pack items at the tills. These packing attendants just surface to pack for whites or other people of a different race. As if that isn't enough the cashiers seem to have long hands i was swindled of a twenty pin & didn't even realise. I was pregnant and got carried away with the packing of my items when the cashier quickly gave me my reciept and the change. When i got to the car i just found the change less by 20pin. I don't know how many other times it has happened and I didn't notice SHAME!!!

I would also like to complain about shoprite town cairo road, i had asked to use the tiolets and was told by the lady manager there that they did not have any toilets for its customers as the council did not allow them to build any. I found her very rude and unsympathetic even after explaining to her that i was expecting and could not hold in urine for long. I pleaded with her if i could use their staff toilet even if it meant underguard. I feel shoprite does not care for its customers needs and yet the little money we earn is spent there. The Question is, What are they giving back to its customers to make their shopping experience comfortable?? In other countries its by law to have customers toilets.

The only good thing happening at shoprite is the absence of cell phone usage by the workers. I hope one day most of the public workers will have to switch off their cell phones while on duty. A lot of employers do not realise how much useful hours are grabbed by cell phone usage, emulate shoperite please, what of the irritation it causes the customers.
