Racists b l a c k s

Postby Third generations » 26th June 2013, 10:16

Dear Zambia,

i love this country but the sad part of what i and others have observed lately in this last 5 yrs is that blacks per zed have really become racists in their languange with other races.i thought it was more prevalent in the lower class of blacks but now its with the upper per mamba blacks too.is it envy .jeoulousy because asians and whites came in the 1920 30 40 s and are still called names .what a shame.....................................if britain can accept other races and are british whats so special about been regarded a zambian.

Ngweshi iwe

Zambians are not racist , they are just waking up and smelling the ricoffy and seeing how they are seen by your kind and responding accordingly. If you kind whether its the pork skinned uncooked chicken muzungu or a curry smelling red dot came to Africa and respected the locals and their culture you wouldn't be seeing whats happening today. But of course we know when your relatives came they treated black zambians like sub humans and mistreated most of them and now you are reaping what you sowed. And don't be foolish that britain is not racist unless you are a stupid thicko you must realise racism has gone underground and its never to anyones face rather its an undercurrent to ones thoughts . The british are racist but as time has taught them they have learnt to make their racism with some kind words and feigning good gestures as though to throw one off of their true intentions. The british are experts when it comes to double speak and if you think they mean what they say then you need a hammer to your head. Remind yourself when they came to steal our resources they came under the guise of spreading christianity , when they invaded iraq to steal oil it was under the guise of searching for WMD so when they say they are not racist are you going to believe these snake tongued muzungus

If you’re an” outsider” with good intentions, you don’t look down at the ordinary Zambian like you’re the shit, then you’ll be paid in kind.
But if you are in Zambia walking like you’ve a gold mine running up your rear end (simply because your skin is lighter than an average zambian) then you’ll be met with what you’re calling racism. Zambians are waking up now and realizing that playing fair to those that treat them like dirt isn’t working. So they’ll tell you to your face what they think of you, and they have every right to do that and you’ve a right to defend and explain yourself.
I hope more Zambians in various sectors can wake up and first and foremost treat their fellow Zambians (yes I mean blacks) equal if not better than outsiders (non blacks). yes i said it! it's about time we took care of our own, it's time we got even.

Zambians have suffered in silence for many years and are realizing now that they’ve run out of cheeks, having turned the other cheek and slapped silly and for what?
So my friend, third generation, forget what your parents and/or grandparents told/taught you, be good to Zambians including the one that waters your flowers and sweeps your yard, trust me you’ll see that Zambians ain’t in fact racists at all as i'm sure deep down you know. the somewhat hostile treatment you've received or observed, if you sit down, pay attention to what's going on around, just be open minded and think hard, you'll understand where it's coming from, it's not blindly directed trust me.

It is true that ordinary Zambians are not racist. But many Zambians like all other races will act racist if they have been brought up with the advise that all people from a particular race are bad and you should never trust them. When as a child you are given that advise by your parents you become ignorant and extremely narrow minded about all people who are different that you in race or in some countries even religion. The problem with many Zambians back home is that they have suddenly got access in large numbers to the world wide web and start to believe too much which is given as the God's truth but really is put there to fulfill the racist agenda of others. The average Zambian back home is very gullible so when you Zambians who live in the diaspora tell something negative to the average Zambian back home you Zambians back home believe it as if you have seen it for yourself. Remember that many Zambians who live in the diaspora mix very well with other races and when they find someone of another race that they don't like they will tell you that they don't like that person as an individual and not because they belong to another race. Finally, there are Zambians who live in the diaspora who for reasons only they know refuse to accept that people are all different and that you can not judge a man by his race for to do so makes you a racist.

I agree with just about everything you wrote. Racism cannot be denied in any sector of society. It does not matter how "progressive" a society, racism will still rear its ugly head. Even in the middle of Vatican city racism is there. Actually maybe that is not such a good example. Catholics are not a good role model when it comes to racial justice.

One would hope that education would help open people's minds. But as you pointed out, there is also bad education. Some fellow pundits right here on DZ seemed to be quite educated and have also swallowed some funky stupid racist garbage. They talk about paybacks and getting even. Two wrongs do not make a right. That's a fundamental principle of a good education.

How patronizing to Zambians at home

This is the kind of diaspora fool that thinks because he has gotten on a plane then somehow he has acquired some special knowledge or insight thats above everyone. You think Zambians at home cannot think and see for themselves the evil of your hero the muzungu? Zambians in the diaspora are not a beacon of knowledge and wisdom. Any visit to any of the zambian gatherings abroad will show you the truth.

Shalapungu, you have never articulated why you choose to throw yourself at the mercy of this evil muzungu by having him be the master of your destiny when you make a living in his evil land.

to each their own

if you believe in turning the other cheek, that's you

i believe in an eye for an eye, how many times do zambians have to be screwed over before they realize that's not right? two wrongs make it even and pay back can be a bitch hence the bitching now

we (zambians) are very friendly and welcoming people, at times too friendly. nobody is advocating treating other races badly for no reason, every situation is a case by case.

how long have zambians been treated like shit in their own god given country? and now all they are doing is standing up and sayin hell no, they are not going amini on their asses, now that the foot is on the other foot they are crying racism, really?

I think all racism by anyone is stupid. There is no excuse for racism. Claiming that you are doing something racist because the other guy did it first is stupid. Revenge is something almost all humans can understand. But revenge does not justify racism. Racism under any pretense is stupid. There is really no nicer way of saying it.

With all due respect my Indian brother, do you have a sister? One who is available for shagging. Don't get me wrong, I'm no dog. I will treat your sister like a f*cking princess. Seriously. Tell me if you have got a shaggable sister so you and me can talk.

You can try to justify it all you want, the word is Indian, too quick at name calling huh?, learn how to spell first.

If you’re going to criticize someone on something as simple as a slip of the tongue, make sure you proof read your work first, otherwise your credibility as a critic is highly compromised and questionable
