PIMP MY RIDE: LED head lamps

Dear Zambia,

I have noticed a few drivers on the road with 1999/2000 BMW,Audis with not sure if they are Xenon or LED lights in their headlamps. Looks sexy if you ask me so I want to know where I can get those for my car as well. I own a similar car

Zambian laws do NOT allow those types of headlights.They are ILLEGAL.

Felix, please just go ahead and put those lights if you find them.I'll defend you in court. Law maker, can we please move ahead with the times and can you start drafting bills that are relevant for NOW. That's a year 2000 make and if they were allowed back then in Europe, why not now pa Zed?

I mean LED as in Light Emitting Diode. The standard lighting in all vehicles is halogen. The LED headlamps I'm talking about are actually halogen but with LED bulbs inside the main lamp. You will see them on these new Audis, Mercs, Range Rovers etc but some styling automotive shops (in SA obviously) have some LED headlamps you can fit on some old model versions of BMW, Audis from as far back as '95 to '05 model. My Audi is 2001

I know the LED lights.They are also known as HID lights.the permitted amount of car light in Zambia is 200candiliers those LED lights can emit upto 350decibels of bright light.I would advise you check the RTSA Act b4 installing those.

Since when did RTSA have the capability to measure the amount of light emitted from the head lamp and how and where would they nab you to say you lights are too bright and charge you?

i know you are not deceased yet and probably not catholic but if you are serious and can help me scoop those lamps i will have you canonised! my car is a 2000 Audi A4. i had earlier stated 2001 because for some reason that is what is on the white book.
