Government lauds Zanaco SMEs initiative

GOVERNMENT has praised Zanaco for extending its small and medium entrepreneurship (SMEs) financial literacy workshops to rural areas, as SMEs are the engine for economic growth. North-Western provincial assistant secretary, Joshua Kamanya thanked the bank during the SME financial literacy and business planning workshop for giving businesses in the province a head start in growing their business
“I would like to applaud Zanaco for identifying Solwezi and conducting this training here. Often times the inclusion of areas that are considered as remote is compromised,” Mr Kamanya said.
He was pleased that among target audiences being reached during the training as part of Zanaco’s corporate social responsibility to raise financial literacy, included children in more than 100 schools adopted through the bank’s branch network.
