Chiluba´s family against barring enemies from his funeral

The Chiluba family has disassociated itself from assertions that some politicians have been banned from attending the late second republican President’s funeral.

Ben Mwila, who gave his identification as family spokesperson says the late leader, Frederick Chiluba had no grudges against anyone therefore the family sees no need to bar anyone.

Mr. Mwila, who is also National Democratic Focus (NDF) President, says Dr Chiluba was in fact a Christian, who even forgave all those who aligned him to corruption allegations.

This comes in the backdrop of MMD cadres, who have camped at the funeral house threatening to sort out any opposition leader, who will visit the bereaved family.
