George Bush in labour of love

“WE ARE here as an active show of compassion in the belief that all human life is precious,” former US President George Bush said of his action to refurbish Ngungu Health Centre in Kabwe.
Mr Bush, who arrived in the country on Saturday, told journalists that the Bush Institute is concerned that women’s lives are being lost through cancer.
“When we came here yesterday (Ngungu Health Centre), the clinic was dilapidated. We decided to refurbish the clinic so that tomorrow (today) we can open it to women for cervical cancer screening,” he said.
He described his personal involvement in refurbishing the clinic with volunteers from the United States America and local community as “a labour for love for humanity”.
Mr Bush said he was looking forward to seeing more women undergoing cervical cancer screening.
