Akufo-Addo in for State visit

GHANAIAN President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo arrived in Zambia yesterday for a four-day State packed visit during which he will officially open the Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Ndola.

Mr Akufo-Addo, who was in the company of his wife Rebecca Akufo-Addo, arrived at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport about 18:15 hours.
The Ghanaian leader was received by President Lungu, First Lady Esther and senior Government officials.
Mr Akufo-Addo is today expected to lay wreaths at Embassy Park Presidential Burial Site in Lusaka.
He will later hold bilateral talks with President Lungu at State House before meeting former President Kenneth Kaunda.
According to a programme released by Cabinet Office yesterday, a State banquet will be hosted for the Ghanaian President this evening.
Tomorrow, Mr Akufo-Addo will tour Amatheon Agri Farm in Mumbwa and will on Thursday fly to Ndola, where he will officially open this year’s Zambia International Trade Fair.
