Catholic Bishops Strike Deal To Unite Rivals Pres. Lungu & Hichilema Together


Catholic Bishops have struck a deal aimed at reconciling political rivals President Edgar Lungu and opposition UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema. The influential Bishops met with President Lungu at State House today weeks after the branded the ruling party a dictatorship. President Lungu opened his door to dialogue with the bishops in the midst of rising political tension in the country.
