ConCourt ruling, lesson Constitution making is never rushed – LAZ


The Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) says the just concluded case on the eligibility of President Edgar Lungu to stand in 2021 is a lesson that constitution making should never be rushed. LAZ president Eddie Mwiitwa says the details of the ruling by the Constitutional Court has demonstrated that constitution making a serious process. Mr. Mwiitwa says if a constitution is therefore going to be passed by Parliament, it must be a document that is going to meet the aspiration of the people and a document that stands the test of time.
