Delay is setting Sales Tax ‘rate’ creating uncertainty – Mphuka


Government has been urged to hasten in setting the rate for the Sales Tax which comes into effect in April this year. Economist Chrispin Mphuka is advising government to be cautious that the delay in setting the rate of this tax is creating uncertainty in the economy. Dr. Mphuka, who is also former Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) president says the Sales Tax will have an impact on planning and investment for firms doing business in the Country.
