SOUTH Africa is now safe enough for Zambian truckers and bus service operators to resume business trips into the country after two weeks of xenophobic violence, the government has assured.
Transport and Communications Minister Mutotwe Kafwaya said in a statement on Thursday that truck drivers, truck owners and bus owners planning to go to South Africa could now do so.
The statement came after reassurances to the Zambian government by the South African High Commission in Lusaka.
