Stimulated banks ask for K4.68m

THE Bank of Zambia (BoZ) has approved more than 80 per cent of the K4.6 billion that financial institutions have applied for under the K10-billion stimulus fund.
According to an update by the BoZ communications department yesterday, 10 banks and 12 non-bank institutions have applied for over K4.68 billion to pass on to companies and households facing challenges as a result of the negative impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) under the K10 billion Targeted Medium-Term Refinancing Facility.
