A 60 year old man arrested for Murder

Police in Siavonga District have arrested a 60-year old man for the murder of his 58-year old wife using a pounding stick. The suspect has been identified as Bernard Hamwiinga of Hakabija village in Chief Sinadambwe’s Chiefdom in Siavonga District who murdered his wife identified as Maggie Mafuta of the same village.

Government has projected to raise US$ 22 million annually through the collection of the 30 ngwee tariff on internet calls. During its sitting on 13th August, 2018, Cabinet resolved to introduce a 30 Ngwee per day tariff on internet phone calls following an increase in its use at the expense of traditional phone calls.
