A KITWE woman is currently on the run after a terrible case of mistaken identity resulted in the death of her former husband’s cousin. Alick Banda Sampa, aged 53 of Ipusukilo Township in Kitwe, suffered severe burns when Vivian, whose full name is unknown, accidentally poured hot water on him, thinking he was her ex-husband. According Copperbelt province police commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba, the incident occurred on October 30 around 21:30 hours.
