A 25-year-old man, identified as Peter Chanshi, who is believed to be grappling with mental illness, allegedly stabbed his mother to death. The incident occurred after a dispute over the use of charcoal which the son sold without his mother’s permission. Bonaventure Chanshi, aged 33, reported the that his 48-year-old mother, Mirriam Banda, lost her life in a confrontation with her son, Peter, a businessman suspected to have mental health issues.
