A 28-YEAR-OLD employee at the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia (CIDRZ) is in police custody following a tragic incident involving the death of his colleague, theft of 19 laptops, and the arson of the office premises. Bupe Sandukiya, a cleaner at CIDRZ, is expected to be charged with murder, aggravated robbery, and arson for the events that allegedly took place around 20:00 hours on Saturday. He said Sandukiya thereafter stole 19 laptops before setting the offices ablaze.
