We recently received a notification from Yandex Mail (who host the ZOL mailboxes) about changes in their pricing structure that are so high that it would force us to charge more than three times what we currently charge you for our email service.
We therefore opted to migrate the entire email system to a new provider so that we are able to continue charging the same competitive rates as before. The official changeover to the new system shall happen on 4th March 2026.
INSTRUCTIONS AND NOTES ON MIGRATION
1. Please migrate your mailbox to the new system using the link below on zambia.co.zm website. Please ONLY use this link and not any other different website:

You only need to do this procedure ONCE (carefully follow the instructions on the page) and the new system will be automatically updated every day with new emails from the old Yandex Mail until the changeover in March. Only active mailboxes can migrate. If your mailbox is blocked, kindly pay for it first.
2. After 4th March 2026 when we switch, all new emails shall be delivered into the new system. Old emails in the old system shall remain accessible until we disable Yandex Mail system on 30th June 2026. From 4th March 2026, you will not be able to send out new emails from the old system but only from the new system.

It may take some time to be able to login to your mailbox in the new system after you commence the migration on the provided page. Give it up to about 30 minutes.
4. The process to migrate may take several days, depending on the size of your mailbox, which is why the migration needs to be done now rather than 4th March. You can login into the new system using the login page above to check progress of migration, although you cannot send or receive emails just yet (continue in Yandex Mail). Please use this time to familiarise yourself with the new email interface. After your emails are completely copied, new emails shall be added everyday from Yandex Mail.
4. After the migration on 4th March 2026 on final changeover (we shall email you to confirm), please change your password immediately for security.
5. Please continue sending out emails from the Yandex Mail system until the changeover date when you shall be able to send and receive from the new system.
6. In the new system, your mailbox is 10GB default size. You can purchase a bigger mailbox if this is not enough. Prices are as follows:
a) 10GB – K330 (default current price)
b) 25GB – K500
c) 50GB – K1,000
d) 100GB – K1,500
e) Above 100GB – 100GB price + K10 per extra GB or part thereof
